So back last year ... April 2013 My Uncle and his crew started constructing the remaining walls and Roof. We choose to keep some of the internal walls light weight rather than using rammed earth throughout, so these were timber frame with gyprox over. Some others are to be clad with timber lining boards, one at the front will be stone clad and the south side of the house has been clad with Scyon matrix panels. The south wall also has been insulated using thick fridge panels.

In January 2014 our windows finally arrived!!! This was a long process of organising windows, doors, glass panels, Louvres, sliding doors all with thermal frames and double glazed from China! Months and months of emailing, skype, re-measuring etc and it payed off they are great. I started talking to them in 2012!! We saved alot of money and had eight weeks of installing them ourselves on the weekends and nights with help from My father in law and a friend, lots of tears and frustration!
Here my brothers are helping us get the toughened glass panels onto the pergola beams in the alfresco area, this was also a stressful few days!
Decking almost completed on the front pergola, Marcos has to finish the step off yet and the balustrade is done also we have had the screen around the water tank area put in.
Garage Door!!!
Ceilings painted and projector screen in games room.
The kids cleaning up leaves from the house and swimming pool, they are great helpers every day and work really hard with us, I think they have given up asking when it will be finished! We had to seal the rammed earth walls so they needed to be brushed down first, nice and dusty job!
