We have now started on the "Second Stage" of our build, very excited that its all happening now! Apart from a few problems in the last two weeks, hopefully this week will go better and we have learned to keep a closer eye on the tradies!
So last week the footings were completed for the rest of the house (Im calling it our second stage as the cellar is completed and now we start all again on the other levels which is the main living and bedrooms etc so second sand pads and slabs/ walls etc.
Yesterday the garage slab was getting prepared and Marcos has set up some more pipes for underfloor heating and ducted vacuum today. He has been working on the house flat out this last week most nights and weekends (okay more like a month!)
Garage slab is going to be poured tomorrow and the new Rammed Earth guys are starting in the morning also, I have a good feeling that things will run a bit smoother now that we have someone who knows how to read plans! Our last rammed earth guy had me drawing every single wall for him and caused a lot of problems..
Anyway here goes another week!..........
